As housekeeper responsibilities, making sure accommodation units are of a high standard by commissioning local tradesmen to complete work needed. It is my responsibility to buy the complete inventory every time a new resident moves in so they will be able to settle in right away. This includes everything from a tea spoon to a bed!

I began working at St Ed’s as a volunteer and have now worked here for 9 years. It’s a job I very much enjoy and supporting people to reach their full potential and gain the independent living skills to move on successfully is a passion I have. I regularly complete training to improve my knowledge, increase my awareness and build on the skills at work I need, and am always striving to improve.

Over the years it’s been my privilege to work alongside and support our residents and will continue to do so.
